The holidays are a lonely time for many homeless animals sitting in shelters across Connecticut. Neirad Enilno reporter Olivia Leunis visited the PAWS shelter in Norwalk. Hi! My name is Max, I was born December 1st of 2004. I love to cuddle and sit with you and your family around the fire, I love to play with toys and take some walks once or twice a day. I am a Bichon Frise; I must say I am super cute. I am up to date on shots and already neutered. The people at PAWS really love me, but I can’t wait for a home! I really enjoy walks, and I am around 14 pounds, super small and perfect for a fun and loving family. I don’t mind other dogs, but give me some time to get used to you, after that, I will be your best friend forever.

Good day! My name is Cedric; I am a big guy with lots of energy and love. I am 3 and a half years old, around 100 pounds and being a Siberian husky, I have lots of energy to run and play! I love people who can handle taking me on a long walk twice a day and have the time to care for me. I have a really cute face, but at first, not too much hands near my pretty ears or body, I am shy at first, but I will quickly be your best friend! I have been at PAWS for a while, my mommy surrendered me to Animal Control, I want you to be my new mommy or daddy, to love me and keep me with you always.

Hello! My name is Gizmo; I am a small 36-pound 5-year-old Siberian husky. I came to PAWS with my dad, but after warming up to the place, I no longer need to be adopted with him, but it would be nice! I love to cuddle and play with your kids or with you, maybe even your other dog. I like walks and am very fun. My blue eyes add a special extra to my already perfect stature. I have very whimsical eyes, perfect to look at you when I am hungry or need to go explore the outdoors, but if you have an apartment, I like inside too! I like mature kids, or adult homes, maybe a retiree would be right for me, but I don’t really like other cats, but if you have one, just make sure he or she is not bullying me!
