Four DHS clubs faced budget cuts this fall. The Dance team, Dodge Ball Club, DAWG and Invisible Children all fell under the ax. Advisers lost stipends they were originally promised. Neirad reporter Jay Alter took a look into the problem in the November print issue. (See page 1, "Four Clubs Face Budget Cut") Here's a look at how much money, clubs were deprived of until the PTA stepped in with a $25,000 emergency donation. The stipend chart reflects increases for the faculty adviser for each year of service to the club. Payment is also dependent upon which club the teacher advises. (some pay more than others!)
