Cocoa is a one-year-old (approximately) male poodle-lhasa apso mix. He arrived at Westport Animal Control as a frightened under-socialized little guy. While he is making great strides with attention and a regular walking schedule, he still should be placed in an adult home with an owner that has previous small dog experience. He loves his walks and playing outside. Our guess is that he wasn’t given a chance to be a real dog (walks, playing, learning boundaries) and needs a patient owner willing to train him.
