How would you like to make an animal’s life happier today? You can have the opportunity by adopting Thelma. She is a young, beautiful, healthy cat looking for a family.

Eighteen-month-old Thelma was taken in by the Connecticut Humane Society after her elderly owner died. Thelma was pregnant with kittens at the time a neighbor dropped her off at the shelter, but has now delivered and has been spayed. (bet one of Thelma's kittens was named Louise!) She is also up-to-date on all her vaccinations and medical needs.

As you can see from the photo, she’s a bright green-eyed cat, with very soft gray and white fur. Although this sweet girl is timid, she gets along very well with people and cats. All Thelma needs now is a calm quiet home to live in! She would probably do best in a home with older children.

Please contact the Connecticut Humane Society in Westport if you would like to adopt Thelma. For further information call 227-4137.
